Culture Club

When NS90 launched as a company on May 1st 2016, we wanted to set up a committee to give staff ownership of what's important to them from a cultural point of view, to manage events and activities, to discuss policies and make recommendations to management. And so the Culture Club was born.

From a social aspect, we've had some great events so far. Here is a recap of the first summer of NS90.

NS90 Launch Party

We had our launch party for NS90 on Tuesday May 3rd in the Bodega. We started with some business updates from the management team and the launch of the NS90 logo. To get to know each better, we stood in a circle and everyone revealed something interesting about themselves. In our midst included a published author, a popular podcast host and Twitter personality and a potential baby daddy to hundreds of children across Europe. We all raised a glass to the launch of our company and then it was BBQ time, where a magician provided us with entertainment and we played some party games.

Karting

The NS90 karting event took place in May, where there were prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the most number of crashes and the Driving Miss Daisy award. A great night was had by all.

Vroom vroom!

Bowling

We had a pizza and bowling night in July in the Mardyke with a few pints afterwards in the height of Euro Fever.

Big smiles for pizza and bowling

Summer BBQ

We had our summer BBQ in the Southern Star where people brought their partners. It was lovely for everyone to meet and we had some good food and chats before some party games and shot forfeits were introduced to the proceedings.

Team Night Out

Our most recent night out in the Fransciscan Well was a beer and wine-fuelled evening which continued late on into the night.
